What do you think some of the benefits are of dating online during the pandemic? What are some of the risks? Do you think many of the relationships that were formed during the pandemic will survive after the pandemic? Do you think there will be major changes in courtship and dating after the pandemic?

Even courtship was impacted by COVID-19. State-mandated lockdowns and medical guidelines to social distance forced people to take a different and much slower approach to forming relationships. Instead of dating in person, online dates via Zoom and FaceTime became popular (Sigalos 2020).
